Committee oversees activities and programs of the parish.

Fall Festival
Major fund raiser for the parish is held in October.
Activities include dinner, games, raffle, theme baskets, crafts,
outdoor activity area, bingo, baked goods and used books.
Paschal Meal
Passover supper is a ritual that blends both the New and
Old Testament. Held Wednesday evening of Holy Week in the Church
Hall.
Trivia Pursuit
St. Edward adult night out! Annual Trivia Game with tables
of eight at the Knights of Columbus. Drinks, snacks, music & fun!
Coffee, Donuts and Bagels
Volunteers provide hospitality with coffee, donuts and
bagels in the Church Hall following Sunday liturgy.
Retirees Luncheon
Luncheons held in the St. Edward Church Hall on the 2nd
Tuesday of each month, September through June, followed by
socializing and bingo. Volunteers prepare, plan and coordinate the
luncheon and activities.
Nursery
Volunteers, adult and students supervise children three and
under during the 9:00 a.m. Sunday liturgy.
Funeral Dinners
Coordinate, plan and prepare funeral dinners on a rotating
basis.
Play Group
Moms socialize while children play. Meets on Thursday
mornings from 10:00 a.m. - Noon. Activities include crafts, stories,
field trips, and Mom’s night out.
Communicator - Newsletter
To raise the awareness of parishioners by writing articles
for a bi-monthly publication to all St. Edward members.
Fraternal Organizations
ACCW (Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women)
Open to all women of the Diocese. Meetings are held four times a
year at various churches in Waterloo. The purpose is to discuss
current events in the Diocese and spread information and activities
of the parish.
Catholic Daughters
All Catholic women in the area are invited to join. The
purpose is to improve its members morally, spiritually, and
intellectually and for charitable, religious and benevolent
purposes.
Catholic Order of Foresters
A fraternal insurance group designed to insure and
socialize with Catholics of all ages.
Knights of Columbus
Catholic men who do charitable activities and raise funds
for
donations. They hold social activities for members.
Cub Scouts
Any boy in 1st through 5th grades (not limited to St.
Edward students).
Boy Scouts
Boys 11-17 are eligible to be a Boy Scout (not limited to
St. Edward students).
Girl Scouts
Girls in Kindergarten through 8th grades (not limited to
St. Edward students).
